A Rose is A Rose

Happy Sunday!

Always happy when I get to spend time making cards.  For my post today, I colored this Rose  from the Floral Plate #2 half sheet which has stamps that I grab for ALL the time.  I love the wishing well and the large roses.

Anywho, I chose this simple roses stamp and colored it with copics.  I used my handy dandy TJ Newsletter techniques called Stacked Nesties and Polished Mulberry.

Here is a close-up of the roses.

I used copics R29, 22, 21, 20 for the roses
and YG99, 93, 91 for the leaves
(they were new and couldn't wait to try them out!).

Check out my blog for more details if you like...

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

TGIF! Card stamping time!

Hi...time to get the stamps out and make a card! I am going to a wedding Saturday and thought this sentiment would be great. Her colors are pink and I'm gonna use this card on her gift bag. I used a stamp from IBFS  called..."May You Be Blessed". I used Copic markers, glossy accents, ribbon, lace and a few flat back bling. I hope she likes it! What do you think? for more pictures and details on this card visit my Blog.  :)
Thanks so much for stopping by...and as always.

Happy Birthday...

Hi Everyone, it's Robyn here today.  I have a fun, shaped card to share with you today.  One of my favorite things to collect is teapots and tea cups.  I started when my girls were little so we could enjoy hours and hours of tea parties.  Over the years, we've made a lot of special memories and have had treasured times "playing" tea party.    When I saw the Cricut cartridge called Love you a Latte, I knew I had to get it.  The special times with my girls is what inspired today's card.

I used my Cricut and Gypsy to create the shape using pink textured cardstock.  The sentiment stamp on the outside is from the Every Day Phrases.

This is the inside sentiment (below).  It comes from the Inspirational Phrases sheet; which is my all-time favorite set from IBFS. =)

This card was a lot of fun to create and I hope you're able to see just how versatile these wonderful stamps sheets are.  Love them!

Thanks for stopping by today.  If you have any questions, let me know. ;)

I Brake for Barns

Hello, IBFS Fans. I'm back with another card to share with you today. This one is called "Rustic Barn" and you can find it in the I Brake for Stamps store. I love landscape stamps; they are so much fun to color.
I live in the country and we see a lot of barns but there are not many of these around anymore. They remind me of a simpler lifestyle as I grew up on a farm in Illinois.

Go to my blog for all the details on my card and more photos.

Have a great week...

I Brake for dessert on the Titanic

Welcome to my I BRAKE FOR STAMPS
Saturday post.
I have been fascinated with the Titanic since
I was a young girl.  I can remember
reading a book and watching a movie
when I was in 8th grade (no, not the Leo and Kate
version!) and just being in awe of what those
people must have gone through.

My card is a little more lighthearted though.
This adorable quote is called
Live For The Day.

I used an embossing folder from Sizzix
and all of my shapes were made with Spellbinders
dies.  There is a piece of acetate over the port hole
so that it really looks like you're looking through glass.
This is one of those rare times where I actually WANTED
to get a glare so you could see what I'm talking about.

I used a Nellie's corner die on the inside.

I'm leaving the inside blank since I think
this could be used as a thinking of you, just because
or a birthday card.  I'll fill that in later.
Here's a close up of the funny verse...

Hi Everyone, it's Robyn here.  I have a vintage-style card to share with you today that as mentioned in the post title could make a wonderful Mother's Day card.  It could also be birthday, thinking of you, get well soon, etc just by changing up the sentiment.

The stamp is called "Hats" and you can find it on the IBFS website HERE.

The flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts
Well, that's it from me for today.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of your week.

Because we grow old...

When I first saw the GROW OLD stamp I thought
"funny"...cute to use with some of the humorous
seniors. (I have several)
Yesterday when I looked at it again,
I thought it's a very pretty verse too.
And so true!

All of the dies are from Spellbinders.  Inside says Happy Birthday.

TGIF Giraffe Stampede!

Hi! Elsa here, this time I went for a boyish style project,. I'm going to use it as a mat on a layout I'm working on. I am always creating in PINk so this is a nice switch for me, but I still think this cute "Giraffe in Egg Shell" stamp would look cute PInk? no? but I just loved the end result with it in blue and 2 different shades of brown. I went ahead and used some roses, but see for your self...what do you think?  For more details and savings...visit my blog!

Thanks for stopping by and as always..

Sweet Wee Suzy

Hey there and a very happy Wednesday to you!  It's Robyn here today.   I wanted to share a card that I created.  I think it turned out just adorable.  I'm so smitten with the Wee stamps that are available through the IBFS website. This little sweetie is Wee Suzy. She is just precious!

I decided to create an easel card; which measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". So much fun to make and I really like the rich rose tones.

I had so much fun creating this little card.  Hope you've enjoyed seeing it!  Have a great rest of the week!
